Why rewards only to cricket team & why not for hockey team?

Hi INDIA,

Congratulations to our INDIAN cricket team for their sweet taste of victory against pakistan & crowning the T20 world cup for the first time. Crores of fans across the world who watched the match celebrated India's victory. The team played exceptionally well & as a result of appreciation, each & every player has been rewarded with the prize money from the State & Central Govt, BCCI & many more.

Earlier to this, the hockey team lifted the prestigious ASIA cup hockey title & the fans overwhelmed by the victory of the Indian hockey team. The Indian hockey team scored 57 goals, which is a record for any team & includes the huge 20-0 win against Srilanka. But the hockey players were left without any rewards.

Why these rewards or expectations or hype reserved only for Cricket team & why not for the hockey team? Chakde India!
